Q:Chris Claremont has said that he's not allowed to make new X-Men characters because the rights would go to Fox (Rob Liefeld said something similar). Why would Jason Aaron and Bendis allowed to introducea a bunch of new characters when the greatest X-Writer ever isn't? I'm inclined to believe Claremont, but I notice the contradiction, so I'll let you explain things before jumping to conclusions like some people.

If we didn’t want to introduce new characters in X-Men titles, why would we have done a whole crossover event the outcome of which was to have new mutants appearing around the globe?

Think. McFly, Think!

THANK YOU.
